Hello! I’m Alex Hamm, owner of Homegrown Hazelnut Nursery. I spent four years as a research technician for the Nebraska Forest Service in partnership with the Hybrid Hazelnut Consortium, which also includes Oregon State University, Rutgers University, and the Arbor Day Foundation. During my time with NFS, I was able to learn a lot about hazelnut propagation, growth, best care practices, and integrated pest management.
